How much I enjoyed it: 6/10
How I rate it: 5/10
“Heirs” was the first full Korean drama I watched and I was hooked from episode one. The chemistry between the Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye is SO wonderful. Their romance plays in a way that is so raw and pure, I just love it! The emotions these actors convey just hit me in all the feels! Kim Woo Bin, surprisingly as the villain, really made me feel deeply for him. I found myself rooting for him in the stories, just as much as the heroes. All the characters are complex, with faults and vulnerabilities that make them so relate-able. Cha Eun Sang is really one of the most adorable character ever. While Kim Tan… *swoon*! Haha. This show had me laughing, tearing up, and clutching my pounding heart. I would definitely recommend this show! Drama and romance in the best way! Korean shows now have me addicted!
[As I’ve watched more drama’s I’ve sort of realized how childish and weak “Heirs” is. A DramaBeans writer described it as “one long angsty music video”… which is accurate, but I still loved watching. It was my introduction into Korean Dramas and it did its job well!]
