Sungkyu’s solos have mostly been produced by a band called Nell. They used to be under woollim ent as well, but they left to form their own label.
Here’s another song from the same album as The Answer (the video above), and it actually features Nell’s vocalist Kim Jongwan. https://youtu.be/bFVDUIfY8BQ
This is another Sungkyu song which L/Kim Myungsoo (if you’re watching Ruler: Master of the Mask) has said many times is one of his favourite songs (not just limited to Sungkyu) https://youtu.be/LZwSt0Brne0
I am fast becoming a fan of Sungkyu’s songs. Thanks for introducing me to Sungkyu. 🙂 I think his songs are a bit different from Infinite’s songs. Are they both produced by the same band? Nell is good too. Now I have a wider pool of artistes to listen to. Thanks.
Many of Infinite’s earlier songs were composed/produced by a composing team that now goes by the name of Sweetune (you can check out Snuper and She for more examples) which incorporate the 80’s style synth music.
As Sungkyu has always been a big fan of Nell (he auditioned for Woollim because he wanted to be in the same company as Nell), his solo mini albums are heavily influenced and produced by the Nell members.
