I actually understand his wish to keep it supressed. I would like that too. but it looks like his good memories vanished together with the bad? this frame is like a classic space movie of the 1960ies.
I wonder if it’s a bit like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? Because that’s what Smart Earth is feeling a bit like so far. If that is the case, it could be really interesting since that is one of my all time favorite movies. To me the idea of erasing a person from your memory is full of interesting possibilities in regard to who would do that to themselves and why, or of it is even a conscious choice.
Granted I’m about to watch ep. 5 and this could all be turned on it’s head in the next hour.

Yes, it does look like a classic space movie. It’s all that cool tone of white used throughout and the sparseness of it all.
