This whole storyline is awesome. She’s trying so hard to not put anything extra on her mom but all of it is just hurting her mom more and reminding her that she’s doing such a poor (in her opinion. They may not have a ton of money but Said Rang is out of the park amazing. Her mom did such a good job)providing for her daughter that she can’t even afford to dream.

I love Sa Rangs loveline and how straight forward they both are. He tells her to be honest about her feelings with her mom and her friend and after some frank conversation both relationships are better. Now, one of them needs to iniate a frank discussion between the two of them…maybe he’s waiting for her crush on Issue to resolve itself. Maybe Issue and puppy will start a group together….

This reminded me of Sunwoo and his mum in Reply 1988, and it’s the best thing ever. Sarang doesn’t want what her mum wants for her because she can’t bear seeing her mum suffer to give her a better life, but only know does Sarang realise it’s even more unbearable for her mum to see her suffer in order to protect her.
