Normally not a fan of the ‘holding your hand out to the rain’ thing, but somehow when it’s both the guy and the girl who do it, it’s so much better. And how much do I love that Ji-wook does it first?

WHAT THE — how is this man a district attorney again??? As far as I’m concerned, he deserves to rot in jail?? I’m pretty sure what he just did could be construed as a murder attempt.

I actually understood him a little bit more in this episode/that scene (assuming you’re talking about SP). From his perspective, she gets to move on with her life (since he doesn’t see how much the trial did effect her), while he spends every year/every day missing his son. It would have hit him even harder on what would have been his birthday. I don’t know why he didn’t look for other options to who the killer was at the time, but as far as he is concerned, she’s the killer if only to have someone to focus all his anger at.

I do get his anger, but y’know, he choked her. I have zero patience for men in power who abuse the powerless, which is what’s what he’s been doing. Stalking her, then spreading false information about Ji-wook. Then this. Also, he must not’ve been a very good father if he couldn’t tell what was going on with his son. Or even to ask why his son was in his ex’s house in the first place. Surely he should’ve noticed something was amiss. It’d been months. Why show up at Bong-hee’s? It’s not like she invited him; that he would’ve known that from the text messages and call history. I’d thought he was a little off during the investigation into his son’s murder. My suspicion is that his outbursts could very well be motivated by guilt as well as grief. So no, I still don’t excuse him. Furthermore, losing control like that in the position he’s in, ugh.

True enough. I don’t necessarily mean his acts are excusable, but that I can see his motivation for why he reacts that way. It is extreme, so I agree that there is something more going on.

The ex did have a reason to go to her place cause she told him he had left some stuff there when they had run into each other earlier. But, yeah, I doubt the father was really involved in his life, which might be where all his guilt is coming from.

Yup! I meant that the father wouldn’t have known any reason for his son to go to his ex’s place. Thank you for your thoughtful replies 😊😊 Was feeling pretty ragey after seeing him almost kill Bong-hee like that, so sorry if my comments might seem a little pointed. Bong-hee is much more gracious than I am tbh. For all that she’s suffered, I’m glad that I can say that I trust the show for major payoff. It’s been delivering all the emotional beats well so far, and I just hope I don’t have to wait too long. Ugh, I detest him so much.

Thank you 😊 I think most beanies will have the same reaction. I can’t wait for the recap to see what lollypip and others say!

With the wave of time travel dramas we’re having, is it reasonable to expect a time loop drama? As in Groundhog Day the movie-esque. I’d gladly trade the last of my sleeping hours for it!

You can check out the web drama ‘The Day After We Broke Up’. It starts L and Yoon Sohee, but don’t be put off by then. L doors a pretty good job, and Yoon Sohee’s character matches with her acting. It’s a web drama so it’s relatively short, so you can drop it.

With all the dramas piling on, at least I now know for sure what my preferred mode of drama-watching is, altho with a few exceptions. It’s decidedly not live-watching 😝😝

Live-watching as I have learned, only results in comparing the airing dramas and naturally gravitating towards the more exciting ones. This way many lower key or milder ones which might be really cute or calming by themselves, seem boring and get dropped. Unfortunately.

Yep, that’s one reason why my mode of preference is such. It satisifes the completist in me 😆

Ahhh Lookout and Fight My Way are both so good in different ways. The wait’s been so worth it!

AHAHA they even have a Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo song (how do you even spell that???). Approve any and all references to Disney! 👍

“It mustn’t have been the prince whom the innocent Cinderella fell in love with. It was the dress.” No truer words from Fight My Way, episode 2. I’d kill for that dress 😍😍

Finished Lookout’s first two episodes! Solid, engaging, and I love Lee Shi-young’s character already. I also actually like Kim Young-kwang in this; his character’s the most interesting by far 😆

Of the three new shows I am more interested in Lookout. I found the first two episodes did a good job of introducing the characters.

AHAHAHAH she asks him if he had dinner? And then tells him she already did? I\’m cracking up. Also, I might be screencapping every shot of his face. The hair does wonders, I tell you.

And he was so happy and I thought she was going to invite him to dinner.😀 But then she tells him she already had dinner, 😬.

Aww, the way his half-smile vanishes when he realises she’s just asking him about another prosecutor. Poor puppy 😆😆 (I might be shipping them oops)

I love how he was just chilling one moment and then the second he sees Lee Shi-young, he gets up and starts boxing. And then when she says she’s here to see him 😆😏 And then she steps closer. . .

Kim Tae-hoon is so hot in Lookout ??

Baek Tae-min is not just a Grade A Ass, he\’s also Dangerous. I\’m terrified for Seol. This guy has all the textbook traits of abusive, and I wouldn\’t want her near him with a ten-foot pole.

She\’s using him as her butler?? LOLOL, I want to be her. Also it\’s two in the morning and I\’m finally caught up to Suspicious Partners, yay! Thank goodness I don\’t have work today. 😁😁

Ahaha all it took was one good review from someone I follow and I\’m now all in for Suspicious Partners. Wow, do I like it!! I think I\’m in this for the long haul now. Opening week eps were fantastic!

I\’m looking forward to his growth! He\’s very juvenile right now ugh. And I hope the heroine can discover her own sense of self-worth, own her life, and know that she is very worthy of respect too 😊
