My first female SLS : Kang So Ra as Oh Soo Hyun in Doctor Stranger . This show was a total mess and it’s no secret it wasted his cast minus Jin Se Yeon. BUT my only hope was for my OTP to become real. The script told us to believe that Hoon still loved his first love despite all the years and fake death/identity when the chemistry Quack couple was explosive on screen. I seriously thought they would end up together at some point but nope we shall follow the script. As you can tell I’m still salty after all these years. At least she had Park Hae Jin right ?
I totally feel you. I dropped this show mainly because they didn’t end up together (writer-nim, WHY?). Their chemistry is so evident that it’s blasting off our screens. If they only hadn’t shown us how adorable they are when they bicker, we wouldn’t have been this salty.
Park Haejin is ok… But I’m Team Quack all the way! 😊 I honestly couldn’t understand why Hoon was hung up on his first love the entire time when she was basically useless and Doc Quack is bad-ass.
Oh my gosh, this drama. I remember starting it and liking the first 2 or 3 episodes, and yes, thinking that Kang So-ra’s character was interesting. Then ….. it’s all a blur now. I stopped watching it somewhere along the way but all I recall is everyone’s incessant talking about “the plan.” The continuously mentioned “plan” became a running joke in DB because no “plan” was ever explained.
I watched it before discovering dramabeans and at some point I was so lost. I didn’t know what was happening with the villains and their grand scheme. Even Hoon’s plan or whatever. I thought I was dumb but after reading people’s reaction I understood the show was a real mess not me XD

I think for Jin Se Yeon, it happened twice that viewers are having second female lead syndrome, first Gaksital then Dr Stranger 😂

I didn’t care for the romance part in Gaksital because I was too heartbroken by Shunji’s evil development T_T
