#SuspiciousPartner shaking up to be quite formulaic. So far, second leads are relegated to afterthoughts as we focus on solving the crime of the week and the romance marches through The Outline.
I think the male second lead at least is different than the norm. Otherwise, I can see how it’s formulaic but it’s formulaic done right: not boring with great chemistry with everyone.
Good chemistry and a few well placed jokes can go a long way toward making something watchable, but it can’t elevate a formulaic drama to greatness. I want greatness for JCW again.
I agree. Tbh I don’t see the hype for this show and while I’ll keep watching and somewhat enjoy it, there’s just too many cliches for me to be completely on board. Kind of disappointed in the writer 😭
