Lies! Seriously the way he and Choi Yeon Kyung reacted to her loss at the end of that episode, specially that scene where she was crying behind doors and he just stood forlornly
outside, just looked as if they had lost their own child. It was a really lovely moment, made all the more sadder for the happy scenes before this.
