Movie review- my sassy girl , like every other k-addict i was told this is the rom com classic, so I had high expectations but i didn’t like it, the way male lead was constantly harassed was not funny
I didn’t like it either. I think it also depends on where you are in your K-drama/K-movie journey. After a while, you realize some things are cultural and learn to take things in stride.
ya it makes sense, all adaptations of this movie were complete failure not bcoz they weren’t made well but bcoz the film was made with korean culture in mind, i remember reading that girls liked how the guy doted on “the girl” and i was like…he is not doting, she’s just dominating and beautiful and he is that beta guy who can only dream of getting a girl this pretty…there is this train scene which is titled as the funny scene of the movie and it is basically cha tae hyun gettng hit again n again …and i felt awkward coz i did not find that funny

I didn’t like it either. I think it also depends on where you are in your K-drama/K-movie journey. After a while, you realize some things are cultural and learn to take things in stride.
