    You know what makes it worse? That Shin Hye Sun after that show has to act with Park Shi Hoo in a morning drama…. When I remembered this news, my first idea was -Shi-mok did a shitty job protecting her.

      I don’t know what to say to her about Park Shi Hoo project, I know he was bad news, scandal wise but he is definitely a good actor, I am by no means defending him. The thing is, its not like she is getting offers after offers for lead roles. There are limited windows and she is taking what is being given out to her. I just hope they don’t hate on her. I can totally understand why she has said yes. Look at Yeon Jung Hoon, Lord knows how long he will have to play a villain or a second lead before they give him a drama to headline and look at Suzy, lord knows how many dramas she will screw up before they stop giving her roles or how many it’ll take for her to actually improve. I am praying that things turn out well for Shin Hye Sun. I am just glad that she is no longer the girl who kissed Kang Dong Won or ‘Lottery Girl’

        The thing is, I actually thought Forest would score her a lead role in something better than morning drama with controversial actor. Eun Soo was a hard role to play, plus this show got high ratings, people hated character but prised/appreciated her acting, by all dramaland measures she should have gotten a better casting offer. Unfortunately, it seems that her agency rushed and accepted the role so now she is stuck in a makjang drama for another two or more months

          Actually, the writer is famous and KBS has good reputation when it comes to weekend dramas. I am not surprised she accepted. She has good working relationship with both TVN and KBS. I am surprised KBS is willing to risk it with Park Shi Hoo, they seem confident. Its still a risk. I hope it doesn’t have negative impact on her.

      I don’t even care what happens to Shi Mok by the end of it all. He treated her like a unwanted fly till the end and she died in cold blood. His selective kindness to those around him that I found a bit adorable earlier feels unfair and thougtless to me now. He was a terrible mentor to her. I am having hard time accepting how violently she has died. Screw it all, they need to catch the culprit fast.

    Thank you for this! It’s great that she didn’t focus on writing one episode at a time instead thought of the whole story, that’s why there are no plot holes and the flow of the drama is awesome.

    She definitely wrote the two female characters to be different and both can stand on their own.
    I still don’t get the harsh opinions on Eun-soo.

        I know we are all fangirls here including the recappers and I really appreciate it when the recap is unbiased. We tend to discuss more important things other than bashing or defending the characters.

          agreed, considering the fast pace of episode 11 and 12, I hope we get the sharp, disinterested recaps back……so much is happening, it all goes to waste when we don’t talk about them and instead defends characters that aren’t meant to be defended……even the writer refuses to label the characters

The whole \”Is Hyun Jae indeed father to Ji Hoon\” is a tired, messy plot line at this point, they need to resolve this because it contributes nothing to the story right now

Story wise, I Remember You still is miles ahead of Suspicious Partner.. pretty forgettable show as a whole…I fast forwarded most of the final episode of SP but good for Ji Chang Wook

Anybody watching Bad Thief, Good Thief, nothing ground breaking but Ji Hyun Woo and Kim Ji Hoon\’s portrayal of two brothers separated is twisting my heart pretty badly

    I stopped after a couple episodes. The childhood stuff was pretty boring for me but I was planning on picking it up again since the premise sounded interesting. Has the show improoved since they grew up (if they have yet)?

      To be completely fair, the parts with the two brothers are pure love but rest are pretty average fair with the biggest drawback being Seo Hyun, sorry her brat for a cop is so far screechy and annoying

    I will re-pick up this drama after Father is Strange finishes its run. It seems interesting, but when I saw Im Joo Eun is playing villain again, it turned me off. She has been typecasted with this kind of role.

        Oh I see. OK if it is interesting, I’ll love to see it. This writer’s past drama Dazzling Tempation – I stayed until the for the Prime Minister (Jung Jin Young) and Cha Ye Ryun characters and not the main leads.

        How about Seo Hyun’s performance so far? I sae some clips at YT but she seems to be quite annoying? lol.
