Lol sorry for what’s coming, but to me deok sun is always for taek and vice versa, so I would like to say, maybe ‘he got the girl after all,’ shouldn’t work in this case. Since it’s rjy who’s dating hyeri, and not jung hwan. The character of Taek, deoksun were the writer’s imagination, and by saying things like these somehow affects the appreciation for the show. IMO deok sun was bound to be with taek, so comments like ‘the second lead for the win’ shouldn’t apply here, I would like to keep reel apart from real life, just so I can rewatch this drama sometime again. I do love the show and how the romance part worked out.^^ Just my opinion ofcourse. 🙂

Agree with you! Taekkie and Duk Seon forever ❤️ Theirs will always be one of my favorite love stories of all time. But, I am also happy that Hyeri is dating Jun Yeol in real life. Well I’m mostly always happy when kpop celebs admit to dating. 😂
I also loved their short venture on romance, the slow build of their romance totally won me over hehe. And yes, their private life is privy to them, I am only commenting on behalf of the drama, lol sorry for spoiling the spirit hehe. ^^
Agree with what you are saying. I understood the drama resolution and made my peace with it, but I have always been Team Hwan fan. If I was in the drama though I would have wacked him on the head and told him to get his s**t straight and spill his feelings ASAP. But he kept waiting which got frustrating to watch and I don’t blame Dok Seon for falling for Taek in the end who was always up front about his feelings and not afraid to show them. Watt was also frustrating was the writer kept trying to put both ships on equal footing until the last minute, the end result being a lot of bitterness on one side.
In light of all the angst and frustration the Hwan/Dok Seon shippers had to face in the show though, this news of the actors dating in real life kind of feels like a reality fanfiction with our couple getting together in an alternate dimension lol. I guess in this way, we can feel a sense of closure and can finally move on from all the bitterness.
Yeah, it really is kind of scary how fans literally make it to the point of extreme for their club. I mean love your OTP, but can they not throw muds at other people’s excitement? 😀 Anyway this is reply we’re talking about right? So this is like history repeating again, and we would again see nasty fan wars next time, even if one party would like to stay calm and sane, one or other would come up and be keyboard warriors again.
Lol anyway, I know what you mean about the writer. I wish next time she just makes it clear, cause it really takes away the fun factor of the show, since when you’re live watching the only thing in mind would be,who’s the ‘husband’ 😀 . It is not a good feeling at all, and I think I didn’t pay any attention to other people in the story, until I knew what’s happening to deoksun-taek, and this happened on each episode lol. I hope she makes a better drama this time, much better if there is no husband war anymore. -_-
Yup! I think the first Reply 1997 had it right with just the right amount of teasing because I think we all knew it was game over once she realized Seo In Guk had been right there all along! 😂 The other two that followed just crossed the line between teasing out the ending and outright with holding information or messing with the audience so we wouldn’t figure it out till the end. Man anyone would go crazy after 20 19 minute episodes with no satisfactory plot resolution. Hopefully, for her next project she can focus more on the families and friendships and less on the who is the husband hunting
