Went to Coquitlam to watch A Taxi Driver with my family. Construction and accident on the highway. Arrived 30 min late and didn’t get to see the movie. Wasted 2 hours of my life. Ugh

      Sigh. I went to the washroom and cried. I was so mad. And no, they only have one showing. I felt bad coz I forced my family to watch with me and we’re just heading home with nothing. Malls are closed so nowhere to go. My precious time gone to waste.

    SFD was my first foray into Sageuks. I think I chose well. It was so good. Still stands today as one of the best dramas I have ever seen.

            @umbrellaman It’s the sequel but it was aired first. I liked Tree because of the psychological warfare between King Sejong and Jung Kijoon. It didn’t have much action but still an awesome exercise for my brain.

      I used to watch it every month, like skipping through things but after a while I just stopped skipping coz everything was so good! I’d recommend doing your rewatch with someone if ever. It would be better to have someone else to lean on when you get your heart broken again.

      I’m not sure. They keep on calling her useless. But thinking about it, they basically hated on every girl on the show just a bit more on Boonyi.

    For a show dominated by guys, female characters always get blamed. There’s some misunderstanding that female characters in sageuk are weak, and don’t know martial arts etc etc and this also due to some crappy sageuks which always portrayed female characters esp female lead so weak and keeps crying only.

      It’s really sad because these ladies are strong characters in their own way but people keep on missing the point.

      Even Cheok Sagwang who’s like the best swordsmaster ever gets crap, it’s crazy.

Ahhh. It’s so hard to watch Moohyul start to doubt if it’s still right for him to serve Bangwon. Nobody’s right or wrong. It’s just… painful.
