Any other beanies watching/have watched Behind Your Smile? Potentially my new favorite Chinese drama. ^^ It’s well acted, funny, and I love the music. ^^
I started it but I couldn’t stand the female lead. I didn’t find her innocent and pure but dumb and boring so I stopped the drama! Of course, that’s only my opinion!
But the music is amazing to me!
To each their own, I guess! She’s definitely not the sharpest heroine I’ve seen on the screen, but I don’t mind it since it’s not in her character description. The only time that can bug me is if they’re described as being smart… and then for whatever reason totally aren’t.
Ohhh I watched this. It’s super melodramatic, which isn’t usually my jam, but I loved it so much. I really enjoyed it, even though the ending was a tad rushed. Listening to the song “Don’t Panic” from the soundtrack right now, in fact!
I didn’t like the female and male lead’s acting. It just seemed so bad. I didn’t finish the drama and skimmed the ending when the last episode came out.
I finished it, not a fan of the main girl just because she’s so simple minded, though i guess that’s why they loved her, lol her nickname 50% was funny because I found her missing 50% of street smarts that is needed to survive in the world. As for the actor, I’ve liked Marcus since I saw him in Back to 1989 (for which I’m crossing my fingers for a sequel!!) and it was great seeing how torn he was between revenge and love, and I’m so glad he chose love. I was first roped in because of that bogus summary of eternal life thing but I soon saw it was fake but still watched it, but since it’s only once a week there were weeks I totally forgot it and came back to marathon a few at a time.

I haven’t, but I’m thinking about trying it. The premises, about him being immortal, sounded interesting. So you would recommend it?

yeeesssss…. but he’s not immortal. That I know of, at least. And I’m on episode 8… He’s just super out for revenge.
