Am I the only one that thinks Healer is kinda overrated? I definitely didn’t dislike it, but I’ve always been a little perplexed by the immense love for it in the community. It was just there for me.

    Seeing the kbeauty posts these past days I have been tempted to comment that the only part of Healer that I actually loved was the part they pretended to be wedding guests to get into the conference room! But I was afraid of being downvoted 😂

    I didn’t dislike it but the story and loveline feeled on a high school story level to me.

      Lol, I got downvoted just for this post.

      I think that’s it. The OTP was meant to be the main draw, but they were just “cute” for me, like a youth drama romance. I’ve never been a fan of high school dramas either, so that explains it.

    It did felt overrated here on db. I watched it bec everyone was talking about it. It was, just okay. I discovered Ji Chang Wook bec of that though. 😍

    No you’re not alone. I think the main reason why it is so popular – not only in this site, but other sites as well because of JCW and the OTP. I didn’t watched more than 4/5 epi because I was so angry Yoo Ji Tae played a second fiddle lol, plus the story was not really intriguing.

      I wanted to be invested in YJT’s part of the plot since I like him so much, but it just didn’t feel well written.

      That combined with slightly corny action scenes, and you’ve got a big portion of the drama that’s just kinda boring, lol.
