Finally, after 8 episodes, his first real smile! He can’t secretly be untrustworthy with a face like that, right?

After Circle I thought it’d be difficult to find a character I loathed more than Professor Park, but in this moment Dong-jae’s really testing that limit:

Yeo-jin’s eyerolls speak to me on a deep & personal level

I\’m torn between getting caught up on 7DQ or Forest of Secrets today–I\’m waaay behind on both, but too intrigued to drop either

Keep watching at your own pace. But don’t drop either. They are both great shows. 😃

As I\’m still a relative newbie, I am now for the first time in my life experiencing that special feeling known as \”help there are so many dramas I want to watch but I have literally no time ahhh\”

It helps to make a list and be able to see it all at a glance! I use a Word Doc to list out all my “to watch” dramas, and a “maybe” list. Then I pick whichever drama I’m in the mood for.

Also, you will find eventually that a taste in dramas is quite personal. So if there’s a drama everyone is recommending but you can’t seem to enjoy even after quite a few episodes, don’t be afraid to put it on hold and try something else! You can note down which episode you stopped at on your list in case you decide to pick it up again.

Have you tried mydramalist? It’s a whole lot easier to keep track of those things there ^^ I used to just have a list on my phone lol, but that site makes it so much less time consuming 😛

Oh yes I recently saw another Beanie post about it! On one hand I like to customise the font/ colours of my list and include links (which I can do on Word Doc), but on the other hand the site’s features appeal to the part of me that loves organising stuff ^^” I’ll check it out eventually, thanks for the rec!

Ah yeah, no fonts/colours there. You can add a ‘note’ for each show on mdl though, so I’m guessing you can include links there too ^^

I don’t know about other Beanies here, but I try to keep the number of dramas I watch to a limit. I know that there are so many options and it’s hard to decide which to watch and which to not watch. Three or four is already a lot in my opinion. Even then, I’ll want to cut that number down to two or three. Making those decisions will be hard with the dramas coming up in the next two months.

Me: they were totally setting up a s2 in that last episode of Circle, which is all I want in life
Also Me: but a second season of Circle will never be better than the first one

That ending! I’m always nervous about finales because I’m worried a show won’t go out as strong as it began, but I think the series definitely finished on a high note. Now maybe we can get another season?

like you said (in another post), it’s hard to make a season 2 as good as the original, and based on my limited korean drama knowledge, Season 2 in kdrama always have different casts (like bad guys etc) and I don’t want it if that happen.

But if they can get season 2 with original cast, I would welcome it.. because there are still questions that not answered and I need WJ in my scene 😬😬

It would have to be the same cast, because everyone was so perfectly cast in their roles that I couldn’t imagine not bringing them back. I don’t think they’ll ever be able to beat the tension of waiting for the brothers to find each other again, but there are still some mysteries left unsolved, which I think could set up some interesting plotlines.

Hi. I’m still numb from yesterday. I got what I wanted but I feel so empty.

I feel that. I think most of the emptiness is because I got so sucked into the show’s universe, and now that it’s over there’s nothing to fill the void. But also Yeo Jin-gu stole all my emotions

I cried so much in episode 11 when Bum-gyun was insisting this Woo-jin was not his brother. I was like “fool, that is your brother. He has your brother’s memories therefore he is your brother. “

But at some point I can understand what BG feel (especially I watched the saddest slo-mo of WJ’s death)😭

But saw how sad WJ’s clone when BG said that also broke my heart😭

I can understand a bit, because I think the physical Woo-Jin—as a person beyond just his memories—is what kept Bum-gyun’s past real, even if he couldn’t remember it. And when it turned out that the Woo-jin of his past died (or I guess that Woo-jin’s body?), that’s a pretty awful revelation. But even if he’s not the Woo-jin of the past, I do believe that Clone Woo-jin and Bum-gyun are brothers, so I’m glad they both realized that.

I was crying too, and then my own brother came in and laughed at me. But while I could understand some of Bum-gyun’s initial frustration, I’m glad they didn’t drag it out into the next episode. I just want those boys to be happy

I dunno what to do with my life after Circle. 😢 What/Who is Byul? And Woojin VS Circulate 3? 😁

    1

That’s why I’m hanging onto hope for season 2, even if there’s no way it can be as good. I’d like to believe that Byul really is an alien, but it’s probably more complicated than that. As for Woojin, I’m torn, because I really do believe that Clone Woojin is him and I’m happy that he and Bum-Gyun found each other, but I’m also heartbroken about Original Woojin’s death

There were moments before when it came close–the storyline of the two brothers finding both each other and some damn happiness for once has always had the greatest emotional pull for me–but this scene was really where the tears hit

Ten episodes of Circle down, two more to go! I can either finish episode 11 and go to bed at a reasonable hour, OR I can stay up way too late and watch 12 too. Three guesses as to which I\’m gonna pick

I know this show is gonna get tragic & feels-y, but for the moment I’m too caught up in all this heartwarming adorableness to think about it:

Me, getting into Circle ep 8: maybe Dr Park isn\’t really so ba–
Me by the end: NOPE HE\’S EVEN WORSE HUMAN TRASH THAN I THOUGHT

Coming in with that “home alone and staying up late on a work night to watch dramas” dinner aesthetic

On to Circle ep 6! I\’m glad it\’s only 12 episodes b/c the story works best when it\’s at its most suspenseful, and I don\’t think they could sustain this breakneck pace for more. But also I want more!!
