Why does half of Dramalands female leads have short hair? And it’s always to underline their weirdness/lacking femininity/ugliness (in the words of dramaland, not me), which kind of irks me.
I don’t know. But it’s the new thing. I can’t point out why but it might be to show their weirdness and unfemininity but it could also just be trend… I don’t know.
I feel like the female leads who are described with the words I mentioned always have short hair. But the second female leads that are described as pretty and feminine usually have long hair, at least in recent dramas.
In older dramas it’s often the other way around though. So you might be right that it’s just a trend 🙂

Some people have gotten Lee Jong Suk and Suzy on set and all I have to say is…… I KNEW HER CHARACTER WAS GOING TO HAVE SHORT HAIR! I KNEW IT!
