      I was so fond of it! Huhu. Operative word being WAS since my feelings are all mixed now.

        Yeah… I didn’t even watch the last few episodes… it was fun in the self aware that I’m stupid so let’s have fun with it way.

        Then, I’m not sure at what point, it became unbearably awful. Maybe because it started to act like it was serious? ?

          I think that’s where it lost its steam too. When it decided to have a late-game angst-fest

    The crazy thing about that drama is that I would have recommended it as an intro to people who are new to Kdramas because it managed to cover many tropes you would find in its genre and then some–the list is long. Then, as you said, it decided to suck. Sigh.

      YES! And while it employed soooo many tropes, it was also able to subvert some of them or at least make it comical. For example, two people bumping into each other is SO COMMON but include a cake and then we have a messy bump-into, where the hero even drops the heroine! Le sigh.
