I started nobunaga, and episode 1 was a roller coaster ride! But then from random spoiler read, got to know that the ending is sad? . .Now too scared to watch rest of the episodes. Drama dilemmas.. to watch or not to watch -_-.
hmmm if you watch just the drama you should be okay! yet the way the drama ended you may feel compelled to watch the movie … ouroboros is pretty dark … so if you are avoiding darker things … i might suggest something else. he’s been in a wide range of things … let me know what you are looking for and i can see what i can suggest. older but a off-beat classic is stand up!!
Oh I would love to get recommendations based on different genres. I don’t mind dark story lines, so classics, grim noir anything is fine by me. About nobunaga, yeah I think I will go back to it, since it has got rave reviews. Would be looking forward to your list heheh. ^^
not an exhaustive list, but this is most of what i’ve watched of his. as time passes, he tends to take more roles in crime and law dramas. hope this helps!
school – stand up!! (2003). hanazakari no kimitachi e (2007). hana yori dango 1 & 2 (2005). gokusen (2002).
crime – ouroboros (2015). meitantei conan (2006). tokyo dogs (2009)
historical – nobunaga concerto (2014).
slice of life – juui dolittle (2010)
supporting – densha otoko (2005). GTO (1998).
@erushi Thank you soo much for the list! I haven’t even heard of juui dolittle and tokyo dogs, and from the sound of it juui dolittle seems like my kind of drama..love those slice of life shows! And didn’t even know he was in gokusen! Though loved matsumoto from the first couple of episodes, haha. Even shipped him with the teacher erm. Anyway thank you again! <33
haha i hope you like it … it’s kinda slow and cute about an anti-social vet but it starts Narimiya Hiroki (gokusen also) and Inoue Mao (hana yori dango).
haha some rumor articles said that apparently MatsuJun liked Nakama Yukie (Yamaguchi Sensei) too … but that let some hard feelings … I don’t know how true that is … but it was amusing none the less (^O^)

Oh I was really hoping that he continues to stay in the drama, but later seasons probably don’t have him? They slayed with the chemistry factor!

Well I tried, but the plot itself didn’t interest me. May be since it’s a bit like boys over flowers? I felt the plot trope is too much overused.
