@umbrellaman It’s the sequel but it was aired first. I liked Tree because of the psychological warfare between King Sejong and Jung Kijoon. It didn’t have much action but still an awesome exercise for my brain.
I used to watch it every month, like skipping through things but after a while I just stopped skipping coz everything was so good! I’d recommend doing your rewatch with someone if ever. It would be better to have someone else to lean on when you get your heart broken again.

The thing about Six Flying Dragons is that you watch one episode and you just had to watch the rest of it.

SFD was my first foray into Sageuks. I think I chose well. It was so good. Still stands today as one of the best dramas I have ever seen.

I haven’t really seen that many more actually…maybe that is the reason! I never thought about it. Hahahaha

Sageuks are usually good anyway but then Dragons is just wayyyy too good. Have you seen Deep Rooted Tree?

Yes, I watched it afterwards since it is like a sequel. Or I guess the original and SFD is the prequel? ?

I don’t think enough time has passed for me to be able to watch that show again. My heart is still broken.
