Umm. So, about Chef Jang. He’s a bit scary. And bad ass. And really freaking hot when he’s doing so? Like…Damn Chef Jang. I’ll just be over here. All weird and whatnot. Seriously though, Damn.

I’m still not entirely convinced that chef Jang and Soon-ae aren’t actually living in their own 40s/50s gangster drama and just got randomly inserted into this one, and everyone just kinda goes with it.

If it involves Chef Jang rocking an all black outfit and beating down other 40s/50s gangsters and looking dang nice doing it. Please, dramaland: let me watch that drama. I am here for it. Yes please. Honestly, are there any drama writers on these boards? Make it happen, fam.

Yep, this is totally what I’m thing – West Side Story type deal, with lots of fights and some forbidden romance and maybe even a blood feud.

Ok, i just finished ep 12. And YES. Chef Jang and Soon Ae are on a TOTALLY different show. I’m right there with you with the West Side Story, Blood Feud, Forbidden Romance. I’m going to also throw in a birth secret: Soon Ae was pregnant when Chef Jang got sent up the river. Just for DRAMA! sake.

OK, dramaland, we’ve given you your mission, it’s up to you to complete it.

(Also, Viper is definitely a secret heir to a hair empire, right?)

Honestly. Viper joined Chef Jangs gang as a away of rebelling perhaps he was getting bullied because he’s the heir to a Chaebol hair products line. Mayhap they had him modeling those luscious locks and all this time he’s just been looking for a way back. Or. He’s always wanted to be a hair stylist but no one takes him seriously. So he’s serious about his hair maintenance and in his spare time he makes youtube how-to videos. His fishtail braid? Beauty.

I imagine them dancing tango to Bryan Adams ‘s “Have you ever really loved a woman”.

And now…so do I. It kind of has an Addams Family Morticia/Gomez feel. And I’m here for that too.
