One of the reasons I attempt to stick to my old lady slang is because I completely start taking over other peoples slang. Like a weird little chameleon. I *still* call people a “beautiful human” when they do something I particularly like when I haven’t even seen the person who said that in like 6 months.
yes, it happens – when I get a group in the museum who speaks with a distinct accent or dialect I immediately adopt it and it usually shocks them a little. Like, the finns from Etelä-Pohjanmaa or east part of Lapland or canadian estonians.
