I love magnae/leader relationship in real-life bands. Who knew I would love it in a drama as well 🙂 Even in real life, for 70% of idols bands, the magnae gets it tough at first and can’t talk back because of seniority and has to hold every grudges in, but then gets doted on and becomes the “evil magnae” or magnae-on-top later on, and “bullies” the hyung. I love that it’s so much a thing it has its own name, lol.

I do appreciate that Korean music culture has it’s own set of linguistics. I’m absolutely fascinated by it.
