LOL! The funny thing is, nope, I don’t like any of that really. I chose it after a conversation with one of my daughters, who *does* love that period, after watching “Midnight In Paris”. I said that as long as I had all the modern conveniences like maxi pads and modern medicine, I could have been a flapper (the main character points out that he can’t stay back in 1920’s Paris because he can’t do without modern medicine and all life’s conveniences). It was in my head when I had to choose a username (my usual usernames involve “ninja” or “geisha”, but I didn’t want to upset anyone by using them). I *do* swear like a flapper, though. 😀

Me too, life without maxi pads and modern meds is no life at all hee… 😆 Although I love time traveling shows, I wouldn’t want to go back to a past where no modern conveniences can be had – too much of a suffering.
