I wonder if such tendency could be “fixed”, or is he destined to be a girlfriend/wife abuser ? Although it could be argued that it’s him compensating for his mom issue, but is such behavior inherent ?
I believe it’s possible to heal, but you have to realize it’s wrong first.
If you’re a reader, Alex Flinn has a book “Breathing Underwater” about a boy who is undergoing therapy for beating up his girlfriend, but he insists he’s innocent. Very eye-opening.
