Hey everybody, can someone tell me why Dad didn’t get punished for his crimes in FIS ep. 48? Maybe it was the subs, but I didn’t really understand the indictment…
I’m not very clear about it myself – got the impression that although he is sentenced for 6 months, the actual sentencing (going to prison) will be postponed for 2 years after the judgement.. so in effect giving him a temporary reprieve.
Though that doesnt explain why Father was so mad at not being punished… he will still have to go after 2 years.. maybe the expectation is that in those 2 years they can apply for retrial etc etc?
I think he was mad at how unfair the whole thing was. He mentioned how he got punished for something he didn’t do but the judge won’t punish him for something he DID do. I don’t understand the sentencing either.
My best guess — and this is just me guessing, I had the same subs you all did — was that his 6 month prison term was suspended and he got 2 years probation instead.

Oh this makes a lot more sense than going to jail after 2 years! Explains why dad was so mad too.. !
