Currently binging on Reply 1997 – the one and only from Reply series that I can watch over and over again. Still in pain with the other 2. Heart still bleeds yo. #teamchilbongie #teamjunghwan
in my case, the only 1 among the reply series that i watched. i watched ep 1 of both r1994 & r1988 but for some reason, i just can’t seem to get interested.
The best Reply series for me! Story was tighter and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I loved Reply 1988, too, but Team Jung Hwan here and I just hate that he didn’t get a satisfying end/epilogue. Chilbongie in Reply 1994 did, at least.
Yes, it’s my fav among all the Reply series too! I’m still upset on Jung Hwan didnt get satisfying ending. Argh. Thinking about it now makes my heart bleeds again 😭😭
Even I’m dissatisfied over the fact that there was no Jun hwan epilogue, they could’ve atleast shown that he found happiness, but they just left him at that, poor guy didn’t even get to confess properly. I felt sorry for him even if I was team task.
This reminds me of one of the best second-lead confessions in K-drama imho… in Sassy Go Go/Cheer Up where Ha-Joon (Ji Soo) used gummy bears to confess to Yeon-Doo (Jung Eun-Ji) without expecting her to return the love since he knows his best friend and her are together. He just that he wanted her to know that he likes her. And that was so sweet. Kind of that moment with the signs in Love Actually. Jung-Hwan deserves as much, if not more! 🙁

Lucky you! It was really hard the first time in 94, but it got worse in 88. Twice on the losing team is traumatizing 😭

Jung Hwan to me was the most tragic and epic ending of the noblest idiot ever existed in dramaland. Oh the pain we suffer because of him. *sigh*
