Circle just messed up in the biggest possible way, this deserves a Big WHATTHEHECK. And I’m gonna smack byul’s head hard, what the hell does she mean by, ‘ because he has woojin’s memory, he’s woojin!
Spoilers: What a way to destroy my fav drama, wow. I shed some tears for the real woojin who was scared to go alone to fight the big guys, and who died in an unconscious state in a closed room. And that stupid byul has the audacity to act like the clone is the real woojin. This is just not working. And of course a clone is a different person, he’s supposed to have his own memory. The drama really made it look like there won’t be any hope for humanity. To see the show from woojin’s POV, and then to give him such a terrible and pitiful ending,it’s just plain wrong. Also what about the woojin then who was smiling in the chairman’s room…how come he wasn’t unconscious. Can’t accept the ending, 😥😥.
There are more than 1 way to look at this cloning issue. Is a clone an exact replica of the original? In real life, there are many debates concerning this and to date, we have only clone animals. Is the personality the same? How about the soul? The questions are never ending.
I think this show may purport that cloning result in the exact replica if the memories are identical. However, what happened to Woo Jin version 1 and 2? Did they expire faster because they were clones? Evidence so far show that clones die earlier.
I don’t blame Jung Yeon. Different people accept loss differently. Perhaps to her, accepting the clone is better than facing the fact that Woo Jin is no longer alive. It’s not the end yet so who knows what will happen.
Still, it is a very sad ending for Woo Jin. That was the most horrible slow mo I’ve ever seen. 😭
Perhaps to her, accepting the clone is better than facing the fact that Woo Jin is no longer alive—
Yeah perhaps, but still she reached that conclusion so fast, also no concern at all for the real woojin, at least Kim bum gyun was acknowledging the sad reality, and was devastated over the loss of his brother. I can’t believe they actually gave such a cruel ending to woojin , although now that I’ve seen the whole course of the show, maybe it was a given that the twins won’t have a happy ending.😓😓😓
I’m curious about clones too, also duel is running, where one clone is scared of the other one, they deal with the two of them as separate individuals, but I have no idea how it should work IRL. Like you said what about the souls, also they are separate human beings, albeit being clones. I’m wondering too what happened to circulate 1 and 2. Maybe that’s why human cloning won’t ever get legalized? I’m still dealing with the shock from the loss of woojin and then there are his clones…bum gyun must have felt terrible. And then how bad would it be for people who would actually go through it..can’t imagine.
The fantasy may be to create clones which are exactly like the original. So if man cannot find the elixir of life, would cloning be the answer? That is if we disregard the soul. The biggest question is what makes you – you?
These issues aside, see how Bum Gyun cried and hugged Woo Jin Circulate 3? It’s better than talking to the air, right? So if human cloning is possible, I won’t be surprised how people will use it to clone their dying or dead loved ones so that they will never lose them. And there will be others who find this an abomination.

I’m not sure honestly how I would feel about it personally…seeing the replica of someone I loved in front of me I think the pain would increase tenfold, instead of lessening down. So would I welcome the idea, may be not. But yeah it does bring up lots of interesting concepts and provokes our mind. In any case, I wasn’t prepared at all for woojin to die, so I would rather that woo jin died, so we could mourn him properly, now I am rattled by the presence of his clone.. Also seeing that no one is thinking about real woojin and probably the show is trying hard to sell the idea of ‘”because he has woojin’s memory, he ‘is’ woojin..” which I can’t accept. How hard must have been for the 18 year old to go through it all alone. And now we’re left with someone who looks like him, and suddenly woojin story has stopped. Seems very depressing and horrifying to me all in all.
When I remembered what happened with WJ throughout his life and then die like that, it breaks my heart. And I agree with BG’s first reaction. He is clone with WJ’s memories. But I also understand JY (to the extend DS). Because this show is all about memories and She is not human after all, imo. So she can accept that idea.
BG’s struggle is my struggle too, His dongsaeng who he searched all these years died, and what left is the clone with his memories. It’s hard to accept it.. I’m not sure about the ending.. but in my head, at the end WJ’s clone will died too after all this matter (human B) resolved

Ikr, those 18 years is all he lived, didn’t expect this at all. And yeah now tgat you said it, it kind of makes sense that since byul is an alien, so maybe she doesn’t fully understand human emotions, and how overwhelming it can be.So when Bum Gyun was crying it must be because he was thinking about all the sacrifices his brother made for him and he couldn’t save him. Maybe he would even come to warm up to the clone, but in his mind, the void left by woojin, the feeling of loss will never go away.
Yeah.. the fact WJ is dead cannot be forgotten even though there is the clone with his memory. That’s way part of me really want The clone to die at the end.. so they (and we) can mourn properly (agree with your reply). But I also want Woojin’s memories (aka The clone) can have happy ending with JY, at least “his memories” is happy😢. He is a clone, JY is an alien.. so why not
