❤️ Just wanted to send some love to Secret Forest after watching the 1st 2 eps. 😘 Loving the cinematography and Captain Awesome’s awesome acting. So subtle, weighty and assured. Sexy Korean Sherlock!
I’m digging this show too! The only downside is it actually requires me to think! Hahaha. I have found myself needing to go back and rewatch dialogue. Or maybe I am just tired. 😝
Same here! ? I keep rewinding and pausing to frown at the screen. For me it’s less for thinking, but mainly to catch the visual cues I missed, since I find the dialogue to be relatively sparse in this show, and also we don’t get to listen in to Shi-Mok’s thoughts as he thinks through everything. On the flip side, I think it’s really cool, since the show isn’t babying us. Lots of showing instead of telling! So exciting, except when I can’t figure things out xD Other than that, hi and nice to “meet” you, @umbrellaman!
It’s definitely not a bad thing!! I enjoy the subtleties this show has to offer, but it does require actual brain power. This is not a light and fluffy show.
The acting is stellar. Cho Seung-woo is able to get across so much with so little, it really amazes me. I love his character even though we know so little about him.
Hehe, it was his nickname from the time he acted in God’s Gift – 14 Days! Because he was being a really awesome friend to Park Bo Yeong’s distraught mother character, searching for her missing daughter. And also because his acting was so, so awesome.
