I’m usually not a fan of english in a sageuk ost, but something about this song and this drama…they just fit seamlessly! It gets me excited for what’s to come, instead of dreading the tragedy! I’m loving it all so far too. I was already replaying the first ost this whole week and I’ll probably do the same with this one!
I agree with everything you said! Both OST1 and 2 have made it to my daily playlist. I am not usually into melodrama (cannot handle too much sobbing and excessive angst) but so far I love how the writer is developing the plot and building a world full of delightful moments and wonderful characterizations.

I love how Yael Meyer’s “No Matter How Hard I Try” injects such winsome wistfulness to Seven Day Queen. My new fav (both the song and the drama)!
