i kinda like the pic of kim bum with that girl. I hope he gets lots of screen time, as i was always more curious about soujiro, and none of the dramas, nor the manga fed my curiosity. Even if they have to make up a new story, I don't care as long as more screen time for Kim Bum, I'm glad he's playing my favorite F4 character.

I love the photos, Tsukushi is so cute... The whole cast looks good actually. There are some little pieces of chemistry between Domyoji and Makino in this part of the manga, I can't wait to watch it :D

Love the way everyone's dressed especially Makino. I am beginning to like her already. Domyouji looks just as he should. I don't know about Rui......Vic Zhao was perfect ....this one looks a little too delicate like the Japanese one. But I am willing to give him a chance. Can't wait! The only Kdrama I am looking forward to.

gosh, hyun joong and kim bum just look too delectable! aesthetically, this drama seems to be doing everything right :D woohoo i'm so excited now, really.

Just my biased opinion, but I liked the wardrobe of the Japanese F4 more...(even their casual wear). And the girls look a little too babydoll...cartoony in their get-up. But hey..they're making it their own...and not trying to copy Japanese style. Looking forward to watching it some day.

Everything seems all right to me, but if Makino's supposed to be dressed casually in that pic of her entering the boat I don't think her wardrobe doesn't quite match. She just didn't seem the type to me who would be walking around in high heels just for fun... And I loved Lee Hye Young in MISA, I hope she's just as good here!

I like that they're incorporating this (short side) storyline from the manga; it seems to suggest that they're not just following the hugely popular and relatively recent Japanese version, but adapting independently from the original source material.

I really like how GHS's look is shaping up, especially in the plaid dress picture. She looks exactly like the manga Makino come to life, right down to the hair. Wee, this is exciting :)

I kinda dislike Makino's style in the first picture when they are just off the boat. I think Makino is Makino, who is not the type of girl wearing heels and stylish dress plus that huge hat. Isn't she supposed to look like those, sorry, poor girl? With this kind of style, she's looks like those other girls she's hating at school.

I hope the stylish realizes this and quickly changes it.

I agree with the above posts. The costuming is quite....awful. There is something about HyunJoon that doesn't seem to quite fit the role of Rui...can't really pinpoint what it is. Maybe it is because the gal playing makino looks healthier. He is looking quite pale and (too) thin, eh.

But the casting for the evil mom is spot on.

Wow. They're working hard to make this look just right. Seriously, the expectations must be enough to freak them all out properly. Domyouji's floral shirt is appropriately hideous, Rui looks appropriately perfect, bitchy mom also looks perfect...

I think Lee Min Ho may outdo MatsuJun and Jerry Yan both for most awful hairstyle. Quite the accomplishment. ^^

hana yori dango japanese version is still the best..i love the chemistry between matsumoto jun and inoue mao..inoue mao is very pretty and goo hye sun looks a bit old..

Unlike the JDrama where I spent half the time laughing at Tsukasa's wardrobe it looks like Jan Di is getting my endless mocking this time around.

I am having way too high expectations for this show. I think I have to prepare myself not to be too disappointed.

That's exactly what he's like in the manga! I think his image is spot-on here. Same goes for Makino, she isn't always so plain in the manga, there are times when she wears heals...no I can't remember any specific parts. I think I'm gonna re read the manga before the show starts!

she is, hands down, the best actress for the role of tsukasa's mom. i won't say anything about the other cast members, since it would be premature to judge them before seing how they act (though they all look pretty good), but i have little doubt that lee hye young will carry her role with the perfect balance of intimidation, poise, and craziness that we have all come to expect from mrs. doumyouji.

Yeah what happened to Kazuya's character? He brings up one of my favorite parts in the beginning of manga. >.<! He makes Tsukasa jealous(as usual) and it shows how much Makino affects him by having him get upset at Rui...aigoo.

You guys, if you recall, the part where Domyouji decides to give her a makeover/buy her clothes is right after the part where they go on a weekend trip... So you don't have to worry about Makino being out of character, it's strictly legit.

Yay!!! Well, I was planning on watching it since I loved the Japanese version. But I was not overtly anticipating the drama, until you said they shot it in New Caledonia! - Nouvelle-Calédonie for the folks there ;). Brilliant! That's where I was born, and just because of that small fact(which could be merely one episode) they're going to have my whole family watching the drama!! Haha, me and my middle sister are the only ones who watch k-dramas (I got her hooked into them, but I'm very lazy at reminding myself to watch the episodes) but it seems, a little promo to my island will get my whole family invested in it. So excited now! Hahahaha... even my mother (who refused to watch any series with me - no matter how much I tried to convince her) is excited! She can't wait!

i having so much doubt about the casting of this drama but I think they got it right this time! She definitely have the perfect element of being a snobby, high class society queen....besides she was really good in MISA, i totally recented her character on that drama!

Awesome. Just awesome. She was great in Misa and f70s. Check her out in fashion 70s if you haven't. She and the drama both are great:)

i don't know about those scenes how they would look like on tv... however the make up doesn't seem to go rigth... i hope the four boys really look amazingly beautiful....
